|About Dr. Cunningham
Dr. Kathy Cunningham received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from East Carolina University, Master’s in Mathematics from Georgia State University, Specialist and Doctorate’s Degree in Curriculum Instruction from Argosy University. As a mathematics instructor at Tucker High School, she taught and served as math department chairperson for several years. During her time at Tucker High School, Dr. Cunningham earned the recipient of the Tiger Yearbook Dedication award and was voted Teacher of the Year in 2002. In 2004, Dr. Cunningham became an Assistant Principal at Tucker Middle School, and later returned as an Assistant Principal of Instruction to Tucker High School. In 2008, she became Principal of Tucker Middle School. Additionally, Dr. Cunningham has served as an adjunct math instructor at Strayer University, DeVry University, and Georgia Perimeter College. Dr. Cunningham is the wife of Pastor Mark Cunningham Sr. and the proud mother of two Tucker High School honor graduates (Mark and Sarah) who are both currently pursuing doctoral degrees. Dr. Cunningham has spent nearly all of her years in education serving the Tucker Community and has treasured every minute of it!
