Dear Parents,
Instead of having students bring in toys as a mean of earning community service hours for the month of December, Dr. Ross, the IB Coordinator asked teachers to collect money for the purchase of a bike from each team. This will allow Tucker Middle School to donate approximately 16 bikes to an organization which service under privileged children. The funds must be collected by December 12th in order for the bikes to be purchased, assembled (by students) and delivered prior to Winter break. We are also accepting new bikes from anyone that would like to donate. I would like to thank each of you in advance for helping to make the December Community Service project a success.
Each student will receive 5 community service hours for their participation in this project.
